What is a CE?

Continuing education credits help treatment professionals maintain their licensure. Licensure boards impose CE requirements so that credentialed professionals expand their learning and stay updated on the most current information in their industry. Attending CE-approved conferences allows you to obtain a certificate for the sessions that you attend, confirming that you’re meeting your CE requirements. We offer CE credit at all of our conferences, and typically in very high amounts. Here is a list of our upcoming events where you can earn up to 24 hours of CE credits:

How to obtain your CE certificate:

  1. Go to http://FOU.CMECertificateOnline.com
  2. Click on the appropriate event link
  3. Select the sessions you attended and complete the evaluation.
  4. A certificate will be made available for you to print, and a copy will be emailed to you

What is a CME?

CME credits are important to physicians because some states require a specified number of credits annually to maintain medical licenses and because most hospitals require a specified number of credits for their physicians to remain credentialed and see patients. CME credits are authorized by the American Medical Association Physician’s Recognition Award.

We offered CME credits for the first time at Innovations in Behavioral Healthcare (IIBH) 2015. Innovations in Behavioral Healthcare is a new conference at the intersection of the treatment industry, the medical field and business management. With an emphasis on the health of your business, IIBH provides ethics training, effective methods for treating substance abuse, insights into revenue management and more.

Those who work in marketing, admissions, billing, business offices, administrative offices and in roles of leadership could benefit from this certificate.
