CE Update

Each complete intervention model track (ARISE, Systemic, 21st Johnson) provides eight sessions with 12 total hours toward BRI Certification. To complete the 14 hour requirement for AISCB certification, simply select two additional sessions to attend. These additional sessions include the keynotes on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday morning at 8:30am or any one of the concurrent sessions on Monday at 10:30am.

Conference Description

Conference participants have the opportunity to acquire in-depth information about the process of Intervention for Addiction and Mental Illness and receive certification in one of three Intervention Models – The 21st Century Johnson Model, The Arise Model, or The Systemic Model.

Specific issues around interventions, disease concepts, family participation, and practical business considerations will also be presented.

Conference Objectives

The participant will be able to:

  1. Apply clinical skills from a broad range of professional core functions including alternative approaches to Interventions, different therapy approaches and the mechanics of Intervening.
  2. Cite advances in the field of addiction and Intervention from practice innovations.
  3. Differentiate among key models of intervention and integrate methods into practice.
