Recovery Results 2016

November 29-30, 2016 | Dallas, TX | The Ritz-Carlton

About RR2016

When we practice the clinical methods that can help patients achieve long-term recovery from addiction and mental health conditions, do we also have the evidence-based approaches that meet their specific needs? The Recovery Results conference answers the questions that plague professionals who are looking for ways to motivate and treat specialty populations. You will learn about key factors that influence treatment for populations including adolescents, emerging adults, older adults, traumatized individuals and those with process addictions. In addition, Recovery Results will explore the correlation between longer lengths of stay and sustainable recovery, aspects of case management, getting families involved for the long-term, and the benefit of alumni programs, 12-Step groups and support structures.

Moments Of Change 2016

September 26-29, 2016 | Palm Beach, FL | The Breakers

About MOC2016

What is a moment of change? Many individuals in the grip of co-occurring disorders experience breakthroughs that change their lives, whether through treatment, intervention, 12-Step or other means. We want to increase the instances of these breakthroughs by combining our knowledge, efforts and innovation at the Moments of Change conference. Patients aren’t the only ones who will experience breakthroughs as a result of behavioral healthcare’s premier educational event; conference participants will have revelations about the future of the treatment industry. Attendees will experience renewed passion for the lifesaving work they do in treating patients with addiction and mental health conditions. Companies will discover how to run their businesses more efficiently, finding ways to work together with others and develop new relationships, ultimately giving patients more appropriate treatment options. In an enlightening exploration of treatment modalities and intervention, participants will learn how to work with even the most resistant patients and their families (who often need help themselves!). Our goal at this renowned conference is to make sure that real moments of change are frequent and never out of reach.

INNOVATIONS IN RECOVERY 2015

March 30 - April 2, 2015 | San Diego, CA | Hotel del Coronado

About IIR2015

Innovations in Recovery 2015Innovations in Recovery is about the discovery and discussion of effective solutions for professionals and their patients. As the landscape of behavioral health continues to change, shaped by scientific advances and the challenges of our modern world, staying up-to-date in the treatment field has never been more important. Professionals will learn best practices for treating co-occurring addiction and mental health disorders, process addictions, unconventional and unwilling populations, and how to facilitate a framework for the long-term recovery of their patients. Precise treatment methods and effectual post-treatment plans are key to the healing of those suffering from comorbid and complex conditions. Psychologists, psychiatrists, counselors, clinicians, therapists, social workers, interventionists, treatment providers, medical staff and treatment professionals of all kinds can benefit from the dynamic workshops, keynotes and networking opportunities at Innovations in Recovery.

Tracks:

  • Specialty Populations (Adolescents, Elderly, LGBT, Traumatized, etc.)
  • Advances in Behavioral Health (Brain Scans, Holistic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, etc.)
  • Recovery Support (Recovery Residences, Monitoring, Case Management, etc.)
  • Interventions
  • Co-occurring Disorders and Process Addictions
  • Frameworks for Sobriety (12 Steps, SMART Recovery, Meditation and Online Meetings, etc.)

Objectives:

  • Discuss best practices for dealing with unconventional patient populations
  • Stay up-to-date on the most effective solutions for dealing with co-occurring disorders and process addictions
  • Implement the latest treatment methods into one’s everyday practice and caring for patients
  • Define effective post-treatment support for long-term recovery, such as the integration of 12-Step meetings, sober living, monitoring and case management
  • Determine and implement the most effective methods for intervening on complex, unwilling populations as well as providing continuous care for them and their families

INNOVATIONS IN RECOVERY 2014

March 31- April 3, 2014 | San Diego, CA | Hotel del Coronado

About IIR2014

INNOVATIONS IN RECOVERY 2014Foundations Recovery Network would like to invite you to attend our new behavioral health conference, “Innovations in Recovery,” which will be held at the prestigious Hotel del Coronado in San Diego, Calif., in April of 2014.

The face of treatment and recovery is always changing—we learn more each day about the strength and resilience of the human spirit in the wake of behavioral health challenges. It has become more important than ever for professionals in the treatment community to stay up-to-date on effective therapeutic methods that are increasing the threshold of change and providing opportunities for long-term rehabilitation from substance use conditions and mental health issues.

“Innovations in Recovery” is a new behavioral health conference designed to keep treatment professionals on the leading edge of unique approaches and essential therapeutic skill sets. Hosted by Foundations Recovery Network, a proactive leader in integrated treatment education, “Innovations in Recovery” focuses on breaking down barriers, tackling tough issues and defining specific approaches for specialty populations.

This conference will emphasize the following areas of recovery education:

  • Intervention
  • Trauma
  • Specialty Populations (Adolescent, LGBT, Elderly)
  • Non-Traditional Treatment (Wilderness, Holistic, Adventure, etc.)
  • Advances in Behavioral Therapy (EMDR, CBT, DBT, etc.)
  • Process Addictions

At this conference, professionals can learn about a variety of topics that include advances in treatment modalities (EMDR, CBT, DBT, brain scans, etc.), non-traditional treatment approaches (holistic, equine, wilderness, adventure, etc.) psychological trauma, process addictions, intervention topics, and specialty populations (adolescents, the elderly, LGBTQ, professionals/high-profile clients, etc.).

Professionals who would benefit from “Innovations in Recovery” include psychologists, interventionists, therapists, psychiatrists, social workers, addiction counselors, medical personnel in the behavioral health field and others whose work takes them to the front lines of addiction and mental health treatment. Continuing education credits will be available for qualified attendees.
